At some point, we're going to be able to reverse-engineer the way the Trump Regime destroys itself from within. We'll learn who was really leaking lots of things damaging to the interests of not only the president but also to the nation as a whole. We'll learn who the real "white nationalists" were and who was trying to be an adult and conduct the business of the American people. In other words, what we're going to learn is, who was on that ratfucker Steve Bannon's side and who was trying to run the American government?
Stories like this happen because one side of the junta running things wants to destroy the other half of itself because banana republics gotta republic: [Note, this link goes to Tucker Carlson's horrible "Daily Caller" website so don't click it on a full stomach]
National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is thwarting President Donald Trump’s foreign policy prescriptions, two former senior NSC officials told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Everything the president wants to do, McMaster opposes,” a former senior official said in a wide-ranging interview. “Trump wants to get us out of Afghanistan — McMaster wants to go in. Trump wants to get us out of Syria — McMaster wants to go in. Trump wants to deal with the China issue — McMaster doesn’t. Trump wants to deal with the Islam issue — McMaster doesn’t. You know, across the board, we want to get rid of the Iran deal — McMaster doesn’t. It is incredible to watch it happening right in front of your face. Absolutely stunning.”
One former official characterized McMaster as a “sycophant” of retired Army Gen. David Petraeus.
“I know that the president isn’t a big fan of what McMaster’s doing,” the former official declared. “I don’t understand why he’s allowing a guy who is subverting his foreign policy at every turn to remain in place.” he added.
The official continued that he expects a purge of “campaign Trump” loyalists to continue with particular intensity within the next two weeks.
I have serious issues with McMaster because he seems to have destroyed his professional reputation in about five short months of working for Trump. He seems to have forgotten the academic lectures he has delivered about speaking "truth to power" because, frankly, if he were talking to Trump in a forceful enough way, we wouldn't be sitting in the midst of the greatest fiasco ever in American presidential politics.
I am waiting for the day when he decides that he cannot keep trading his soul for his place at Trump's side. That day is either tonight or never, but it's on the way. Who knows when it will get here? Mercurial doesn't even begin to describe it. But this is a trashy hit on a man who is at least attempting to rein in Trump's insane impulse to act like he's trying to build a hotel on an Indian burial ground in the middle of a toxic waste dump for little kids.
Do you know what has to go when Trump finally goes? Any notion that the people who supported him are decent Americans. Proof of that is the nature of the attacks on McMaster. Yes, they went with the Jewish material.
