I really like the first sentence of this story, which identifies the Heartland Institute as a "rightwing US thinktank" and I am hoping to see more of these stories.
Ten grand may not sound like a lot, but that effect tends to snowball when you're trying to gather up every penny to survive. Three or four donors with deep pockets can bail on an organization and suddenly there is a huge fundraising gap. I like the sound of that.
There are ramifications for crazy. I wish they were quicker and more apparent, but the Heartland Institute is going to have a belly full of ramifications before too long.
