Newt Gingrich cannot run anything properly. He couldn't run Congress, he couldn't manage his personal affairs, he couldn't maintain his marriages, and now he is revealed to be a stunningly incompetent candidate for the Presidency.
Given all of this, why does he persist on running? Is it so that he can bring in enough donations from the hicks to cover his debts?
Those farmers in Clear Lake, Iowa own farms that are each probably worth more than everything Gingrich owes. A thousand acres of Iowa farmland and all of the equipment that is required to farm it, the buildings, the home that sits on it--worth more than a million? I'm guessing that more than a few of those farmers look at a man a million dollars in debt and wonder why he has the temerity to walk through their town and ask for their support in the Iowa Caucuses. Who's going to be stupid enough to go stand in the Newt Gingrich part of the room when the time comes?
Apparently, no one is stupid enough to offer Gingrich a free ride on their corporate jet. I'm not going to make any more jokes about his unfortunate wife. A competent candidate for the presidency finds someone to wrangle his wife.
