Who Let All This Trash Into the White House?

All This Trash.jpg

One of the things that is completely and utterly inexcusable about the Trump Regime is the fact that it has allowed the absolute worst possible human beings to walk into the White House and act like trash:

Secret tapes. Nondisclosure agreements. A lot of name calling.

The revelations surrounding Omarosa Manigault Newman's new memoir, and the ensuing fallout, are underscoring a level of dysfunction many now see as just part of life under President Donald Trump.

On Monday, the former senior aide revealed a recording she'd made of the President phoning her on the day after she was fired. Earlier, Manigault Newman released a tape of chief of staff John Kelly doing the firing in the White House Situation Room.

Neither contained outwardly embarrassing language. But the tapes' mere existence confirmed a longstanding reality: in Trump's White House, there are few norms or expectations of decorum that cannot be shattered.

Now, aides are wondering who else might be using a recording device to capture audio from private conversations. And they are girding for Manigault Newman to release more of her tapes, which she has teased at in a string of television interviews.

These people are all garbage. Never mind the obvious fact that they don't care about national security and don't know the first thing about protecting America's secrets. Never mind the fact that they have no idea how to operate with any honor or dignity. Never mind that they are the scum of of the Earth, subsisting on nutrients gleaned from the ass-end of a dirty pond filled with poison and non-potable water.

Have there been awful people in the White House before? Sure, and I'm not talking Palin and Nugent. But this is the worst of the worst, the dregs of a society that is actually full of talented and qualified people, none of whom would work for Trump for a million dollars a day. If you want something to hope for, think of everyone who passed on working for this president and know that there are better days ahead.

Days when we will not know what a fucking Omarosa is.

    Rudy Giuliani Knows Nothing

There's a good reason why Rudy Giuliani is out there, spouting nonsense. It distracts from other issues, it sends the press off in all directions, and it lets Trump supporters think there is a real effort to defend the president from being impeached.

You can't read this and conclude that Rudy knows what he is talking about:

President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani claims that special counsel Robert Mueller told him he’d complete his obstruction of justice probe by Sept. 1. In an interview on CNN’s State of the Union, Giuliani suggested that Mueller had set that deadline so the investigation wouldn’t interfere with November midterm elections. “September 1 was the date that Bob Mueller gave me back two months ago,” he said. “I thought he meant, well that’ll keep us clear of the election. And they did say something like they didn’t want to repeat some of the mistakes that Comey made,” he said, referring to former FBI director James Comey.

Did Mueller really give him that date? Who knows? Monday will come and go and no one will respond to Giuliani's bullshit. That's how this works. And Rudy knows that Mueller's office will remain silent, no matter what he says. So it is to his advantage to throw everyone off of the scent and distract from the real issue here, which is that we're very near to finding out how Trump and his campaign lackeys committed a conspiracy to defraud the United States by accepting Russian assistance during the 2016 election.

The Key Word Here is Demographics

Everyone with a brain knows that Fox News has decided to go all-in on terrorizing old white people by reinforcing the idea that their country no longer exists. This, in turn, drives up their ratings because a panicky audience wants more of the same foolish information to reinforce their fears. So, a racist like Laura Ingraham will use the word "demographics" and then claim that it doesn't mean "race" when, in fact, it does:

Fox News host Laura Ingraham claimed Thursday that her angry rant the previous evening about demographic changes in America had nothing to do with race or xenophobia.

Wednesday, the Fox News host had lamented demographic changes in the United States, and claimed that Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were attempting to “remake” the country. Citing the Democratic congressional nominee’s critique of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, she launched into a screed about the left’s embrace of immigrants.

“In some parts of the country, it does seem like the America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore,” Ingraham said. “Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people. And they’re changes that none of us ever voted for and most of us don’t like. From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically in some ways the country has changed. Now much of this is related to both illegal, and in some cases, legal immigration that, of course, progressives love.”

When Ingraham uses the loaded phrase "massive demographic changes," she's blowing a dog whistle that signals race plain and simple. And people should not ignore or tolerate this use of loaded terms. There is no innocent intent here, not by a long shot. This is white nationalism and racist discourse, plain and simple.

We need a full boycott of her show and her sponsors should feel the pain. Hell, if you advertise anywhere on Fox News, you are aligning yourself with a racist agenda meant to support Trump. Everything they stand for goes against the very idea of America.
