Nielsen is a Miserable Company

I know from second hand sources that Nielsen is a miserable company to work for, and their product speaks for itself. This is what happens when an unresponsive, poorly-managed company starts to break down. They have thrown absolute chaos into the ratings system and I would imagine the advertisers and agencies are furious about this. Who got fired? Who lost revenue because of undercharged accounts? Who packed it in and went under when their numbers tanked?

Nielsen has purchased Arbitron and now the "Nielsen" way of doing things will seal the fate for the radio ratings product as well. This is the Bezosification of American business--turn the place into a miserable mess and bet on being a monopoly to keep money coming in so that you don't have to shut down before you burn through everyone and everything and end up with nothing.
