The Film Business Always Dies After Labor Day
Another day, another example of how nothing can be made into news.
If the trends say that the box office receipts in North America almost always decline after Labor Day, and if it's the week or two after Labor Day and film receipts are down, then, the question is, so what?
If the people who run the film business know that dumping a film on the public in early September is a great way to get some product out the door without anyone noticing, why is anyone surprised when people don't pay to go see this stuff?
