America's Scold is On Her Back With One Leg in the Air
Mika Brzezinski lost all credibility when she became America's Scold--a position formerly held by Kathie Lee Gifford and temporarily occupied by Rosie O'Donnell.
I can't imagine either one of them posing next to a smug, seated man in a black cocktail dress, high heels, and with one leg pointing into the air while positioned in a supplicant pose, can you? If you were going to analyze this from the position of a feminist, what would you start with? Her pouty look in the direction of a former Congressman who kills the hired help or would you start with the fact that, here, you have a woman who purports to be a journalist on her back on a coffee table? Or would you just tear it all up and go do something meaningful?
It's a great photo, unless you're in the information business and need your credibility.
Brzezinski and Scarborough represent a tiny minority of people who live in a sheltered enclave and believe that their presence on television gives them a right to lecture other people about how to live. Is this how they live? Wow.
