Broke Ass Mitt Romney Needs Cash

I have to admit--I'm all confused.

When Mitt Romney says this:
"Given the challenges that America faces -- 23 million people out of work, Iran about to become nuclear, one out of six Americans in poverty, -- the fascination with the taxes I paid I find to be very small-minded compared to the broad issues we face," Romney told reporters gathered for a press conference at the Greer airport in South Carolina, where Romney had just arrived to attend a fundraiser.
"I did go back and look at my taxes, and, over the past 10 years, I never paid less than 13 percent," he said, later adding: "Every year, I paid at least 13 percent, and if you add in, in addition, the amount that goes to charity, the number gets well above 20 percent."
Doesn't that mean that, for a whole lot of the past decade, he was slumming in the lower tax brackets with the rest of us? That he was making less than $70,000 per year?

What a shame. This poor, poor man with such a strangled, meager income and his wife, who is ill, and his five sons, none of which were able to join the military and pay for their own college through the GI Bill. All those homes, those cars, those boats, that lifestyle. How did he do it?

By building his wealth through not working, of course. And that's a good trick if you can pull it off.

How does a man that wealthy think telling the American people that he paid only 13% in income tax is a good thing, given the fact that his IRA alone is worth as much as a hundred million dollars? Well, like Bloomberg says--emulate him and you'll find out.

Don't have the seed money to do so? Too bad, suckers. Too bad. Mitt Romney was broke ass for a decade and look what he built.
